The company
Excelência Setorial was born in Florianópolis, Brazil, on January 2nd, 1995, when the internet in Brazil was still dial-up and data was already companies' most wasted asset. In 2003 it became e-Setorial on the web; in 2015, Business Analytics in name and in practice. Today the tripod is Data · Software · Artificial Intelligence — always in that order, because AI on top of bad data only gets things wrong with more confidence.
Thirty years of projects for education, healthcare, finance, industry and retail — the full timeline and the clients who trusted us are on the home page.
Where we've made a difference
Healthcare: we built the system and led the data migration for Uniodonto, and — working through TopMed — built the dashboards of the City of Florianópolis during the 2020 health crisis, giving real-time visibility of medical care and of people falling ill by region and by health center, exactly when that information mattered most.
BI on top of market ERPs: we extract and bring to life the data of ERPs such as Senior and TOTVS Microsiga/Protheus (the JR-Adamver case), among others — the ERP runs the operation, we turn what it records into decisions.

What we believe
- Data is an asset: it has an owner, a name, a meaning and quality standards
- Technique before tooling — tools change, fundamentals stay
- Small projects that prove value before scaling
- Results measured in numbers, not in slides
- Long-term relationships: clients who have been with us for decades
